Dr. Andy Pietraniec completed his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and then his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University in Indiana. While at Purdue he was a part of many organizations such as Boiler Gold Rush, Boiler Vet Camp, and was the president of the Ice Hockey club there, a sport which he has played competitively since he was 5 years old. Dr. Pietraniec has spent time working with a variety of species including horses, cows, llamas, and even various antelope species in South Africa. When he is not at the hospital, he can often be found outdoors on various hiking trails with his wife or visiting a local sports bar to watch a hockey game on the TV. He is excited to join Hawthorne Hills, and he looks forward to getting to know you and your pet!
