After 18 years of summer times at an Alaskan coastal fishing camp; of wintertime toe-warming vigilance for those napping on the couch; of battling the arch-nemesis Norwegian Forest Cat; and of passionate love-hate emotion for the Orange Fluff.
Sockeye was lovingly ushered out of her deaf and wobbly old age at home by kind hearts and gentle hands from Hawthorne Hills Veterinary Hospital on November 21, 2007.
