***IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR PET’S CARE DURING OUR MOVE***

We have moved out of our original hospital location and are working out of a temporary location to answer phones etc. We are able to fill some food and medication orders depending on what we still have in stock.

We appreciate your patience during our transition.

Due to construction delays, our new space will
not be open until mid January.

During our down-time…

Communication

  • Our team will be answering the phones from 8-4pm, checking email, and responding to your Pet Page requests.
    • Here’s a link to set up your Pet Page if you haven’t done so yet. You’ll be able to see your pet’s vaccinations, reminders,
      request refills of medication and send us messages.

      • You will need to use the same email address that we have on file. Call to confirm or update your email.

Medication & Foods:

  • We will be able to mail out medication refills if we have the product on hand, and approve any other medication requests as long as you give us a few days’ notice.
  • We can also make arrangements for product or foods to be sent from our online store.
  • If your pet is currently on a Hill’s or Purina food, we can set you up to order directly from them and have the foods delivered to your home.
    This is easy and reliable. Let us know.

If your pet needs to be seen:

  • Non-emergency issues:
    • If your pet needs to be seen by a veterinarian during the next few weeks – CALL US FIRST as we can help you with medical management and any decisions about what care is needed. We will be answering phones and checking messages regularly. 
    • We have made arrangements with Montgomery Mobile, a local house call veterinary team, to see our clients & patients during our closure and will be able to send them your pet’s information in advance of the appointment.
    • If we are not available, you can call Dr. Josh Montgomery at Montgomery Mobile directly or send an email message to arrange an appointment. Be sure to tell them you are one of our clients so that they contact us for records.
  • Emergency issues:

At Long Last …

WE HAVE A NEW HOME!

just South of Roosevelt High School
across from the new Light Rail Station

 

In 2016 , we accepted an offer to sell the property; the final closing will be December 20th 2019.
This means we will be moving out in the days before. We encourage you to schedule any routine appointments for vaccinations and lab work by early December so we can accommodate everyone before we move.

We have designed our new space to: 

  • adhere to the standards of AAHA,
  • be Cat Friendly,
  • incorporate the tenets of Fear Free® and
  • be functional and comfortable for patients, clients and employees

While we are really sad to leave our neighborhood, we are excited about what our new space will offer and we think you will be impressed as well. We look forward to another 20+ years of helping you and your pets live healthier lives.

PARKING OPTIONS:  The city has designated 2-hour parking along 12th Ave. NE in front of our new location, as well as along NE 66th to the north.

There are several 3-minute and 30-minute load/unload spots that will make it easier when picking up medications, for short visits and for admitting your pet to the hospital. There is additional unrestricted parking in the neighborhood within nearby blocks.

The time-limited parking means these spots will not be usable by people using light rail. The city has done studies at other locations to ensure that there is parking available for local businesses. 

Our experience has been that there is almost always an open space or several for 2-hour parking.
