VetTriage – Emergency Telehealth Service

VetTriage is a video telehealth emergency triage service. The VetTriage veterinarians are available 24/7 and for a small fee will assess your pet on a live video chat to determine if your pet requires immediate emergency care or give you at-home care guidance.

Telehealth veterinarians do not have a Veterinary Client Patient Relationship (VCPR) which means:

  • Replace the need to be seen at an emergency hospital
  • Prescribe medicines
  • Provide a definitive diagnosis

They can, as stated above, assess your pet on a live video chat to determine if your pet requires immediate emergency care or home monitoring. There is no time limit to the triage session. Once a session is started you can reach back out to them till we are open or it is determined an Emergency Hospital visit is warranted. In the event an emergency hospital visit is advised VetTriage will help connect you to a local emergency hospital.
