Brooks grew up in Arizona, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at Arizona State University. He and his wife moved to Seattle in the summer of 2013, looking forward to more precipitation and foliage. After some time in retail, Brooks pursued his dream of working with animals and graduated with honors from Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Assistant program in 2016. He is very excited to be working in a field he is so passionate about and would love to eventually focus on wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. He and his wife have three cats, Louis, Rupert, and Marla, as well as their ferret, Narcissa, who steals all of his shoes.
